The State Department has asked for an additional month to review Hillary Clinton's private emails, having "overlooked" the need to send them to other agencies for review, The Washington Examiner reports. However, there is a little dent in their plans — D.C. is about to get slammed by a massive winter storm.
The storm bearing down on the East Coast Friday and Saturday has made it unrealistic to ask other agencies to review 7,000 pages of emails, although it raises the question of what exactly everyone will be doing with their free time instead. Nevertheless, the review of emails has officially been "interrupted by the storm," delaying the release until Feb. 29, a month after the original date ordered by the judge.
