Seth Meyers explains why Donald Trump was — briefly — so calm after losing the Iowa caucus

The Iowa caucuses are done and over with, but Seth Meyers still wanted to take a closer look at the contentious contest during his Wednesday night show. First, he wondered why the media went wild over Marco Rubio coming in third place, and questioned adding words like "Marco-mentum" to his vocabulary. "I just learned 'bae,' and I'm pretty sure I'm using it wrong," he admitted. Of course, the real story wasn't Rubio's third place finish, but rather Donald Trump's second. Meyers said he was expecting Trump to give a blistering concession speech and "burn the stage to the ground," but Trump shocked everyone by acting rational. That's when it hit Meyers: "We forget, Trump isn't like the rest of us — he plays by his own rules. He grieves in reverse." Watch Meyers explain his theory in the video below. Catherine Garcia
