Jeb Bush is doing... okay. Things had been iffy there for a while — his campaign for the presidency ended in a brutal resignation. But since getting back to Miami, things have been looking a little brighter. In a call to donors on Wednesday, a "tired-sounding" Bush reported he'd been to the gym and was "sleeping really well," The New York Times writes.

Still, in true Jeb! fashion, the conversation also took a turn for the awkward and depressing. "I'm really sorry that it didn't turn out the way that I intended," Bush told his donors, going on to explain he too had "anticipated a different result."
