Students at Stanford University are demanding the removal of a Catholic saint's name from campus buildings over his role in the "assimilation and exploitation of Native Americans." St. Junipero Serra started nine missions in the 18th century, laying the foundation for the state of California. But students say the school needs to "reappropriate these spaces in the names of indigenous people."
