North Carolina held off a strong challenge from Notre Dame Sunday night, beating the Irish 88-74 to advance to the Final Four. This is the record-setting 19th Final Four appearance by the Tar Heels, but their first trip to the men's NCAA basketball semifinals since 2009. North Carolina is the only No. 1 seed to make it to the Final Four, and on Saturday the Tar Heels will face 10th-seeded Syracuse, which upset No. 1 seed Virginia, 68-62, in a stunning victory earlier on Sunday. No. 2 seeds Oklahoma and Villanova beat top-seeded Oregon and Kansas in the Elite Eight, and will now face each other on Saturday in Houston. You can learn more about the Final Four matchups in the Associated Press report below. Peter Weber
