Marvel Studios released the first glimpse of Benedict Cumberbatch in action as Doctor Strange on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live. The teaser focuses on how Stephen Vincent Strange (Cumberbatch) turned from neurosurgeon into Sorcerer Supreme and the Earth's main protector from magical, mystical forces. Tilda Swinton also appears as Strange's mentor, the Ancient One, and we catch glimpses of Rachel McAdams and also Chiwetel Ejiofor as Strange's nemesis, Baron Mordo. The trailer also features mind-bending visions of cities and temples swirling in kaleidoscope fashion, so even if the Marvel Universe of superhero adventures isn't your thing, Doctor Strange promises to be a visual feast when it hits theaters Nov. 4.
