When Kanye originally released The Life of Pablo, he explicitly said the album would be available exclusively on Tidal.
Naturally, people started subscribing to Jay Z's streaming service. One of those subscribers, Justin Baker-Rhett, filed a proposed class-action lawsuit Monday, apparently miffed that Kanye reversed course and started streaming his album elsewhere.
"We believe that we will be able to prove to a jury that Mr. West and Tidal tricked millions of people into subscribing to their services and that they will ultimately be held accountable for what they did," Baker-Rhett's attorney told The Associated Press.
