In India, police have taken 18 male lions into custody for the murder of three people in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The "suspects" will each have their paw prints taken and their feces tested as officials try to figure out which of the big cats in custody is guilty. "The officials are also studying the animals' behavior," wildlife expert Ruchi Dave told the BBC. "Man eating lions usually get aggressive at the sight of a human being."
Right now, officials have a strong hunch about which lion committed the crime, but are waiting on the results from nine other lions to come back before they make a ruling, said Gujarat's top forest official, JA Khan. The guilty lion will be sentenced to the animal kingdom's version of life in prison — the zoo. The other lions will be set free.
