The British passport just became a lot less valuable

Possessing a British passport isn't so powerful now that Britain has voted to exit the European Union. The Independent reports that, since the vote, British passports have plunged from among the top in the Quality of Nationality Index, at number 11, down to number 30.

The value of a passport is essentially a measure of how many countries a holder can visit without a visa. The assessment also takes into account "the value of citizenship to people who are living inside of the country and to those who are looking to live and work elsewhere," The Independent reports.
