Going for a dive in the ocean and want to blend into your underwater surroundings? The HECS Stealth Wetsuit ($399 and up) is made of a fabric that blocks the electrical signals given off by your heart, brain, and muscle movements, The Daily Mail describes. Because sharks, rays, eels, lobsters, and many other sea creatures detect prey by sensing those signals, a diver wearing a HECS suit can swim among them freely and be, in effect, invisible. The StealthScreen fabric, developed by an Oregon-based company that also makes clothing for hunters, was inspired by 19th-century Faraday cages, which blocked electrical charges by dissipating them across a conductive mesh.
