The Clintons can't resist one last blowout fundraiser for their foundation

Former President Bill Clinton announced in August his family's foundation would stop accepting foreign donations should his wife be elected president to avoid further accusations of a corrupt, pay-to-play relationship that have dogged Hillary Clinton throughout her campaign. And earlier this summer, Bill suggested he would consider stepping down from his role as the foundation's president entirely.
But Election Day is not here yet, and the Clintons apparently couldn't resist throwing one more party. To celebrate Bill's 70th birthday, the Clinton Foundation is hosting a high-dollar fundraiser Friday, featuring performances from Wynton Marsalis, Jon Bon Jovi, and Barbra Streisand. Suggested donations to attend range from $250,000 per person to the cheap seats costing just $50,000.
At Bill's 60th birthday party/fundraiser, the foundation took in more than $12 million. This year's event offers the opportunity for a final big haul before the election, as rejecting foreign donations would eliminate more than half of Clinton Foundation donors who have given at least $1 million.
