Video appears to show Donald Trump joking about 'dating' a young girl
NBC got scooped on the bombshell recording of Donald Trump making lewd remarks on Access Hollywood about forcing himself on women, and CBS isn't making that same mistake. On Wednesday night, CBS News broadcast a short 1992 clip from Entertainment Tonight in which a 46-year-old Trump interacts with a group of young girls in Trump Tower. "You going up the escalator?" he is heard asking. "Yeah," one of the girls responds. "I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?" Trump then says to the camera.
On Wednesday night's CBS News, Elaine Quijano asked correspondent Major Garrett how worried the Trump campaign is about videos like this emerging in the 2016 race's final stages. "Deeply concerned," he said. "The Trump campaign is, I think it's fair to say, on eggshells about any disclosures, any videotape, audiotape, any accusations coming from other women about untoward remarks, physical aggression, anything in this category of Trump acting like someone unfit for the presidency or unfit as a gentleman. And the Trump campaign doesn't know what's out there, doesn't know what may or may not be coming, and Trump has not given those closest to him any indication of what might be out there."
