The wizarding world of Harry Potter is expanding.
British publishing house Bloomsbury announced Tuesday that two new Harry Potter books will be published in October, in honor of the series' 20th anniversary. The books are being released as part of a British Library exhibition commemorating the milestone. Titled "A History of Magic," the exhibition will run from October 2017 to February 2018 and feature wizarding books and other magical objects inspired by the classes taught at Hogwarts.
Harry Potter: A History of Magic — The Book of the Exhibition will focus on hallmarks of the Hogwarts curriculum such as astronomy, herbology, and the study of magical creatures. Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic will discuss the lore behind spells, unicorns, and witches and wizards. Both books will include unpublished sketches and manuscripts from series author J.K. Rowling, though the new installments will not build off the characters from Rowling's original seven books.
