House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is having a very, very good week. With Congress expected to pass the GOP's tax overhaul in the next 48 hours, and President Trump expected to sign off on the legislation before Christmas, Ryan took a trip down memory lane Tuesday and illustrated just how long he has been waiting for this to happen.
To begin the video, a wee Ryan explains — in 1998 — that "our tax system is punishing all those qualities that make America great":
But one person's good week is another's bad week. In a new CNN poll, 55 percent of U.S. adults oppose the tax bill.
