Trump might not appreciate this 1 fact from the jobs report

The U.S. economy performed well in February, per the jobs report released Friday, exceeding expectations and adding 313,000 non-farm jobs. The gain marked the biggest increase since mid-2016.
President Trump might be happy to tout the strength of the economy under his watch — except for one glaring fact from the report that would appear to disprove his claim that America needs steep tariffs to protect its steelworkers:
Trump formally announced a 25 percent tax on steel imports and a 10 percent tax on aluminum imports Thursday. "Our steel industry is in bad shape," he tweeted last week. "IF YOU DON'T HAVE STEEL, YOU DON'T HAVE A COUNTRY!"
