'N Sync reunites for Hollywood Walk of Fame celebration
With thousands of screaming fans holding up signs declaring their love for Justin and JC, for a brief moment, Hollywood Boulevard on Monday felt more like Times Square circa 2000, when 'N Sync would shut midtown down for a taping of Total Request Live.
Fans of the boy band came out in force for 'N Sync's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, attended by all five members — Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. They all spoke, thanking their families, friends, fans, crew, and each other. "These four guys mean so much to me," Timberlake said, before they joined together for a group hug. "We're really a family."
Bass, who publicly came out as gay in 2006, told fans he "had a secret, but so many nights onstage, I'd see young gay fans singing their hearts out, and I wanted to let them know that 'I was you.'" Fatone said they had "the love and the passion for music, and the minute we got together you can't deny the vocals that we had there, you can't deny that what we did was absolutely amazing."
