These Handmaid's Tale-inspired wines pair wonderfully with female oppression

The oppressed women of The Handmaid's Tale are now available for purchase — as wine. Calm down.
Three leading ladies of Hulu's dystopian hit have inspired their own wines available on Lot18.com, People revealed Tuesday.
Elizabeth Moss' Offred, who uses her "feminine wiles" to "stay in control" even as a powerless Handmaid, becomes a "seductive" Pinot Noir, per the wine's downright absurd label. It's apparently perfect for dinner dates, which Offred is definitely not supposed to go on.

The daring Ofglen, played by Alexis Bledel, is a bold red Cabernet with a "warm, spicy finish." The juice apparently tastes like coffee, which Handmaids aren't allowed to have. But hey, they can't have wine either, for that matter.
As a Gilead elite, Yvonne Strahovski's Serena Joy could technically enjoy her white Bordeaux. It "come(s) off as restrained" but is full of "approachable white grapefruit and lemongrass," creating the perfect blend of imbibement and oppression.
Overnight shipping can get you Lot 18's set just in time for Wednesday's season 2 finale, so you can drink away the worry that The Handmaid's Tale may reveal our future.
