Julia Garner beats 4 Game of Thrones stars for supporting actress Emmy

Julia Garner just took home an Emmy and defeated not one but four Game of Thrones stars in the process.
The Ozark star won the Emmy on Sunday for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Ruth Langmore. She had some tough competition, with the category also consisting of Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams. Killing Eve's Fiona Shaw was also nominated.
Prior to the Emmys, Garner was considered the front-runner to win the prize, with some speculating vote-splitting might occur due to the presence of so many Thrones stars, who might normally get a final-season boost. Peter Dinklage, however, won the supporting actor Emmy for his fourth time.
