Elizabeth Warren scores John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's endorsement
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are essentially a political power couple.
Though they earned their fame in the entertainment business, Legend and Teigen's political views — especially as they're shared on Twitter — tend to dominate the news nowadays. That's why Legend and Teigen acknowledged they would "break news" when they told Vanity Fair in Monday profile that they were fully backing Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) for president.
When asked who they were supporting in 2020, Legend and Teigen hesitated, Vanity Fair reports. And then Legend dug in: "My favorite—I'm going to say it, we'll break news today—is Elizabeth Warren. She's the best candidate running today and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience." Teigen agreed, saying "I love Elizabeth Warren" and "I also love Kamala Harris," the senator from California.

While the Warren endorsement wasn't entirely predictable, it was at least obvious that Legend and Teigen wouldn't be supporting President Trump. The two were the subject of a Trumpian tweet storm last month, and have had no trouble calling out Trump constantly over the past few years.
