The first House Judiciary Committee impeachment committee hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Four legal scholars with constitutional expertise — Noah Feldman, Pamela Karlan, Michael Gerhardt, and Jonathan Turley — will appear before the panel and are expected to deliver testimony on what constitutional basis a U.S. president can be removed from office. Their prepared opening statements are already available. While the witnesses don't have any direct, personal links to the events involving the Trump administration, Rudy Giuliani, or Ukraine, it still may prove to be one of the most crucial hearings in the impeachment process.

The usual suspects will broadcast the hearings, including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS. It will also stream on C-SPAN (which you can watch below) and the House Judiciary Committee's website. For more live coverage, you can follow along here at The Week. Tim O'Donnell
