Former Vice President Joe Biden has picked up his third Super Tuesday win.
Biden on Tuesday night was projected by CNN, NBC News, and The Associated Press to win the Democratic primary in Alabama, where 52 delegates are at stake on Super Tuesday.
Polls also closed at 8:00 p.m. Eastern in several other states including Massachusetts, where Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is hoping for a home-state victory, but those races were not immediately projected as Alabama was.

This victory comes after Biden's Super Tuesday evening got off to a good start with projected victories in Virginia and North Carolina, while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) was projected early on to win his home state of Vermont.
After Biden was projected to win Virginia, he told reporters, "It feels good, and we're feeling optimistic, and I think we're going to do well in some other states as well."
