Spurs transfer news: Dele Alli could leave admits Pochettino
26 April
There is worrying news for the White Hart Lane faithful with Mauricio Pochettino unable to promise he'll be able to hold on Dele Alli for much longer, and he may also face a fight to retain the services of Kyle Walker, reports The Sun.
England star Alli has been arguably the hottest English talent in the Premier League this season, scoring 21 goals in all competitions, but his form has attracted the interest of Europe's elite with both Manchester City and Real Madrid reportedly ready to table jaw-dropping bids in the summer.

City boss Pep Guardiola has been keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old, says The Sun and so have Real Madrid, who in recent seasons have snatched Gareth Bale and Luka Modric from White Hart Lane.
Asked to give a guarantee that Alli and fellow England star Kyle Walker would be at the Lane next season, Tottenham manager Pochettino admitted: "I cannot guarantee anything in life. The most important thing is to enjoy the present and don't think about the future. In the future we will take the best decisions for the club."
Meanwhile Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce has told Wilfried Zaha he should think carefully about making a move to Tottenham, should the offer present itself. The Ivory Coast wideman has been linked with the Lane in recent weeks, but the Daily Star says that Big Sam believes it would be in Zaha's best interest to stay with the Eagles, particularly in light of his bad experience with Manchester United.
"Wilf himself is a mature adult now," said Allardyce. "He's seen an awful lot of what happens in football from a very young age, experienced a glory move which didn't quite work and then come back. We would hope he would realise he should stay at Palace for the foreseeable future."
And the Star also claims that Spurs are "prepared to give defender Toby Alderweireld a huge pay rise" to ward off interest from Inter Milan. The Serie A side have sniffing around the Belgian defender recently, buoyed by their new-found riches courtesy of a Chinese investor, but Tottenham regarded the 28-year-old centre-back as a integral part of the squad. To that end, says the Star, a new deal could be dangled before Alderweireld which will see him "increase his wages up to £100,000-a-week".

Spurs transfer news: Barcelona stalk Christian Eriksen
24 April
Having been battered by the Blues in their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, could Spurs soon be burgled by Barcelona?
According to the Sunday Mirror, the Spanish giants "want to take Christan Eriksen" from White Hart Lane in the summer as they look to launch a major overhaul of their squad following their dismal exit from the Champions League this season.
The Mirror says that Barcelona "are circling" the Denmark international, who played in the 4-2 defeat to Chelsea, and they are willing to pay whatever price Tottenham put on Eriksen's head.
Apparently Barca "could use ex-star Michael Laudrup as a go-between" to convince his compatriot that a move to the Camp Nou would be a boost for his career, not to mention, presumably, his bank balance. It's believed Barcelona see Eriksen has possessing the skill set to supply Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez with the passes "to showcase their talents in front of goal".
Meanwhile the Mirror also claims that Tottenham "have joined" the race to sign Luke Shaw.
The Manchester United defender is expected to leave Old Trafford next month and a posse of clubs are in pursuit of the 21-year-old, who according to the Mirror, "has struggled to impress" Jose Mourinho this season. Manchester City and Liverpool have made the early running in the bid to land Shaw, but the youngster played under Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino during their time at Southampton and he "could be tempted to link up with the Argentinian for a second time".
Spurs transfer news: Inter launch raid on Tottenham defence
20 April
Inter Milan are planning a dramatic swoop for key Tottenham defenders Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld, claims Sky Italia.
The broadcaster says that with Inter reeling from another season of under-achievement, they are determined to launch an overhaul of their squad in the summer and England star Walker and Belgian international Alderweireld are at the top of their shopping list.
It had been suggested earlier in the month that the Roma pair of Kostas Manolas and Antonio Rudiger were under surveillance by Inter but Sky Italia says that Tottenham's fine run in the Premier League has caught the eye of the Milan club and they are primed to trigger Alderweireld's £23.4m release clause at the end of the season, while also making a play for Walker. Sky Italia goes so far as to claim Inter have "already had initial contact "with Alderweireld's entourage.
Meanwhile the Daily Star claims that Spurs are "considering a £30m move for Bayern Munich ace Douglas Costa".
The paper says that Mauricio Pochettino has come to the conclusion that Moussa Sissoko isn't up to scratch and, while the Frenchman will be released at the end of the season, the Spurs gaffer will make a move for Costa.
The 26-year-old Brazilian winger has been unable to get much game time ahead of Franck Ribery and Kingsley Coman and the Star says he "wants a move away from Germany".
Spurs transfer news: Pochettino sets sights on Napoli striker Dries Mertens
18 April
According to the Daily Star there is a "transfer tussle" in progress between Tottenham and Manchester United. And the man in the middle of the unseemly struggle? Napoli striker Dries Mertens.
The Belgian international is being chased by the two Premier League powerhouses even though his club are "willing to match" any offer they receive.
Italian news outlet Il Mattino says that Spurs and United have both sent scouts to Italy to check out the form of the 29-year-old striker and they've liked what they've seen.
With 28 goals in 40 games for club and country this season, the Belgian forward is one of the hottest properties in Serie A and the Star says that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino sees him as the perfect complement to Harry Kane for next season.
