Toddlers crash while trying to drive to Grandma's house
Two toddlers, aged 3 and 5, have escaped without injury after crashing their parents' car while trying to drive themselves to visit their grandmother. The children from Seattle, Washington, reportedly managed to start the vehicle, and proceed out of the driveway to a nearby intersection, where they collided with another car. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for cuts and bruises and both vehicles will require thousands of pounds worth of repairs.

Florida man uses own wanted poster as Facebook profile
Police in Florida have arrested a man, after he used a local police department's "Wanted of the Week" poster – featuring himself – as his Facebook profile picture. Mack Yearwood, 42, was identified as a suspect in an assault, leading police to start looking for clues as to his whereabouts on social media. When they discovered his Facebook profile, with his wanted poster mug shot, officers realised Yearwood was wanted on a number of outstanding warrants – and also discovered where he was living.
Man shoots himself during dental procedure
An Ohio man has accidentally shot himself through the hand during a dental procedure, after he was given a dose of nitrous oxide. James Short, 72, who was carrying the weapon legally, mistook his handgun for his mobile phone, local officials said, before offering a warning for future patients. "If you're going to a doctor's office where you might be put under some kind of medication that might alter your mental status... you might not want to carry a weapon," Sgt Christina Evans-Fisher, of the Clark County Sheriff's Office, said.
