The Greek government of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has submitted a request for the country's financial bailout package to be extended for six months, but the details of the proposal haven't been made public. Greece's refusal to extend the financial aid package under its current terms ended talks with eurozone finance ministers on Monday. European officials will meet to discuss the Greek request on Thursday, then the Eurogroup — eurozone finance ministers — is expected to meet on Friday. The Tsipras government insists it won't sign on to an extension of the reforms and austerity measures dictated by the expiring agreement.
