Make your choice reflect the season with these oceanic scents
The perfume you choose to wear says a lot about you. According to Dr Alan R. Hirsch, the founder of the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation, people’s fragrance preferences are “basically like a Rorschach test using odour.”

Mare Pacifico was created by Mark Buxton, a cook and wine connoisseur who after working with leading international fragrance houses finally turned his knowledge to the creation of a perfume of his own: Mare Pacifico.
The long-lasting perfume creation is enticingly salty and aquatic in an homage to the Pacific Ocean with intertwined scents of lemon, Birch leaf, and Spanish cypress oil.

Apsu has a little bit of everything for everyone. From notes of the luscious green to cool aquatic undercurrents and even a hint of wood and musk. The fragrance was developed with minimalism and freshness in mind. Though Apsu is certainly attention-grabbing, it is not a heavy, complex or overwhelming. Middle notes of white tea, jasmine, and iris make this sophisticated and lovely.
The creators of Jusbox, who go by the name of the V-Monkey siblings, have been immersed in the world of cosmetics and fragrance since childhood.
The siblings continue to strive for luxury minimalism with their scent Feel n Chill. Inspired by music, Jusbox Perfumes aim to create scents that evoke emotions and memories from the past in those who wear them. This specific playlist is meant to evoke peace and comfort with notes of fresh musk, coconut and watermelon that may just lead you to your own trip down memory lane.

Megamare by Orto Parisi
Launched this year, Alessandro Gualtieri’s new scent is inspired by the sea and shores of the New World. Gualtieri has brought his own training in the traditional perfumery techniques of the past and mixed them with bolder, more transgressive contemporary ideas. He believes in sensory perceptions being the catalyst for decision-making in a person’s daily life and thus creates perfumes that he hopes will evoke specific feelings.
Megamare is is dedicated to the sea's unplumbed depths. The fragrance is reminiscent of seaweed and ambergris, and the bottle it comes in (a flask with a metal cap that has greenish corrosion caused by salt waters) all hint toward the ocean.
Part of a set of three fresh, new scents by Louis Vuitton, Afternoon Swim is a collaboration with LA-based Artist Alex Israel.
The perfume's main notes are of orange, bergamot, and mandarin, which together create a fresh, citrusy scent. The hint of ginger and ambergris lighten the overall effect - a glorious dash of summer air to add to your wrist.
