West London is about to get its own gin hotel.
The brainchild of the people behind Portobello Road Gin, the Distillery hotel is located - naturally - on Portobello Road and features four floors dedicated to the creation and consumption of the spirit.
Three boutique guest rooms overlooking the famous market street can be found on the fourth floor, with prices starting at £125 per night. "Expect the most banging minibar around," predicts Time Out. There is also a private dining room with VIP bar.

The basement houses a 400-litre still, while the ground floor has been transformed into the Resting Room, a pub where drinkers can sample spirits served direct from barrels suspended above the bar.
What is more, every glassful is unique. "Due to the spirit's ongoing ageing process within the barrel, no two drinks will be the same," a hotel spokesperson told Metro.
One floor up is the Spanish bar and GinTonica restaurant, where your G&T is served in a "copa de balon", the classic bowl-shaped gin glass. A vast menu of cocktails is also available.
The Distillery includes a visitor centre, the Ginstitute, where guests can learn about the history of the drink and try their hand at concocting their own blend.
Styling itself as London's second smallest museum, the Ginstitute says it aims to provide visitors with the chance not just to sample but also to learn about the long, and at times miserable, story of "this wonderful spirit".
The Distillery opens on 16 December.
