BMW brings styling tweaks to 2017 4-Series and M4
Improved steering and redesigned headlights among the many upgrades
A new BMW 2017 model 4-Series and a range-topping M4 are tipped for release this year and while styling changes will be subtle, there will be several handling improvements.
Design tweaks include sharper takes on the LED headlights and the introduction of LED tail lights, as well as subtle modifications to the air intakes and a new rear-apron. Two new colours will be available – Snapper Rocks Blue and Sunset Orange.
Inside, BMW has introduced a gloss black centre console and chrome highlights to make the cabin feel more upmarket. Double stitching on the dashboard is also new, as are three new interior trim configurations.

The 2017 4-Series range will feature tuned suspension for a slightly stiffer ride and an upgraded steering system aimed at improving the handling dynamics and reducing body roll.
On the sportier M4, the German car giant has introduced illuminate M emblems on the seats and increased the number of options available, including Apple CarPlay and inductive mobile phone charging. The M4 also comes with redesigned LED headlights and several design modifications to sharpen the styling.
The optional infotainment system features a redesigned interface that incorporates tile-style buttons, which can be configured however the user sees fit, making it easier to use when driving.
Prices start at £32,525 for the 318i petrol model, says AutoExpress, with convertibles kicking off at £37,315. Diesels start with the 420d Gran Sport at £33,395, while the range-topping M4 "swoops in at £57,817".
