Hennessey’s Chiron-rivalling Venom F5 breaks cover

A projected top speed of 300mph puts it among the fastest cars on the planet

Texas-based tuning firm Hennessey has unveiled its second in-house hypercar - which it claims will dethrone the Bugatti Chiron as the fastest ever production car.

The carmaker says the Venom F5 - launched at the Sema motor show, in Las Vegas - was built to be “the absolute fastest road car on Earth”, with a projected top speed of 300mph.
