Police searching for a suspected thief who bears a resemblance to Friends actor David Schwimmer say they have made an arrest in London.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in Southall on Monday night on suspicion of theft, police said.
It comes after officers in Blackpool shared an image of the suspect on social media last month, asking the public for help identifying him.

The actor later posted a video spoofing the incident to “prove” he was not behind the alleged theft.
“Officers, I swear it wasn't me,” he tweeted. “As you can see, I was in New York.”
In a statement issued yesterday, Blackpool police thanked the public for their responses, and applauded their colleagues at the Metropolitan Police for the arrest.
