James Rodriguez joins Bayern Munich - good news for Arsenal?

The Real Madrid forward has agreed a two-year loan deal and it could close off an escape route for Alexis Sanchez

Another piece of the summer transfer jigsaw puzzle has slotted into place as Bayern Munich signed Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez on a two-year loan deal.

"The 25-year-old moves to the German champions after three seasons in the Spanish capital, where he never managed to secure a guaranteed starting place," reports The Guardian. "Bayern have an option to buy the Colombian at the end of the loan deal."
