Eoin Morgan’s record-breaking Cricket World Cup century dominates the back-page headlines in today’s newspapers.

In his superb innings Morgan hit 17 sixes - a record in a one-day international - to help England secure a 150-run victory and top spot in the World Cup standings.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Morgan was England’s “captain fantastic” while the i newspaper says he was “top of the hit parade”.

With England going World Cup run crazy in Manchester the Daily Mirror described Morgan as a “six god” for his record-breaking efforts. The Times and the Daily Mail have a similar take, saying Morgan is a “six machine”.
