1. Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are reportedly engaged
Tom Hiddleston has found his own glorious purpose: marrying Zawe Ashton. The couple sparked engagement rumors after Ashton was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the British Academy Film Awards recently, and on Thursday, People and Entertainment Tonight confirmed they are, indeed, getting married. Hiddleston and Ashton met starring on Broadway together in Betrayal back in 2019, playing a married couple in the show. They made their debut as a couple on the red carpet at the Tony Awards in September. Hiddleston, who famously dated Taylor Swift in 2016, hasn't confirmed the engagement, and he's previously said he prefers to maintain privacy in his personal life. "My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life," he told The Telegraph. "And those two things are separate." In other words, expect Loki to be fairly low-key about this exciting news.
2. Gabrielle Union blasts Disney at the premiere of a Disney movie
Quite a few people have been rightfully dragging Disney lately, but not many have done it while literally at a Disney event for a Disney movie they were in. Gabrielle Union stars in the new Disney+ Cheaper by the Dozen reboot, and at the film's red carpet premiere, she criticized Disney's response to Florida's controversial "Don't Say Gay" bill. "Somebody asked me, 'Are you disappointed?'" Union told Variety. "I'm disappointed when my order isn't right at In-N-Out. I don't even think that's a word that you could use for something like this, where children's lives are literally hanging in the balance." Disney CEO Bob Chapek initially defended remaining silent on the legislation (and donating to politicians who supported it), only to relent after massive backlash and claim he secretly opposed the bill all along. But Union doesn't sound satisfied, telling Variety, "If you truly are taking stands against hate and oppression, you should not fund hate and oppression. Period. The damage is done." And don't even get her started on Turning Red not getting released in theaters.

3. 'The Boys' stars support Karen Fukuhara after she reveals she was assaulted
The cast of Amazon's The Boys is rallying around Karen Fukuhara after she revealed a man assaulted her in an alleged anti-Asian hate crime. Fukuhara, who plays Kimiko Miyashiro on The Boys, says she was on her way to get coffee when a man struck her in the back of the head. "We made no eye contact before, I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary," she wrote on Instagram. "It came to my surprise and my hat flew off. By the time I looked back, he was a few feet away from me." Fukuhara wants to "raise awareness" that "these hate crimes happen to everyday, regular people," and she pleaded, "This s--t needs to stop." The Boys star Jack Quaid thanked Fukuhara for sharing her experience, writing that he's "here if you need anything," while Chace Crawford, who plays The Deep, commented, "F this person!! Hope you're ok this is awful." Laz Alonso, who plays Mother's Milk, also wrote, "This pisses me off. Wish I was there."
4. Daniel Radcliffe isn't interested in a 'Harry Potter' return 'right now'
Is a Harry Potter version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens just around the corner? The Boy Who Lived says hold your Hippogriffs. The New York Times asked Daniel Radcliffe how he'd feel about returning for a new Harry Potter film — like perhaps an adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — following the HBO Max reunion special, and he's not super into it for now. "I think I was so able to go back and enjoy it because it's not a part of my day-to-day life anymore," Radcliffe said of the reunion, adding that returning to the series would be "such a massive change to my life." While Radcliffe said he's "never going to say never," he suggested it's still a bit too soon. "The Star Wars guys had like 30, 40 years before they went back," he said. "For me, it's only been 10. It's not something I'm really interested in doing right now." In that case, we'll see you in 2051, Daniel! Hopefully J.K. Rowling will have finally stopped tweeting by then.

5. Oscars to feature 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' performance, even though it's not nominated
The Oscars might be even more desperate to boost this year's ratings than previously thought. The Academy has revealed this month's Oscars will feature the first live performance of the wildly popular Encanto song "We Don't Talk About Bruno." While the Academy Awards always feature performances of the Best Original Song nominees, what's odd about this announcement is "We Don't Talk About Bruno" actually isn't nominated. Instead Encanto's "Dos Oruguitas" is. But the Academy is tossing "Bruno" in anyway, presumably in a bid to get TikTokers to care even a little bit about the Oscars — meaning there won't be time to present all the awards live, but there seemingly will be time for two separate Encanto songs to be performed. At least this will be a little more relevant than that time Eminem randomly showed up to sing "Lose Yourself" for no apparent reason. But will merely having "Bruno" in the mix prevent the Oscars' ratings from being shockingly bad? Our guess is no, no, no.
