1. Chris Pine denies Harry Styles spit on him at 'Don't Worry Darling' premiere

Where do we even begin with this? Don't Worry Darling premiered Monday at the Venice International Film Festival, and it was as big a mess as you'd hope. Florence Pugh skipped a press conference with Olivia Wilde amid rumors of a feud between the two, and she failed to even make eye contact with the director during the premiere. Harry Styles, meanwhile, kissed Nick Kroll and made bizarre comments like "my favorite thing about the movie is it feels like a movie." But by far the juiciest drama occurred when fans claimed a video showed Styles spitting on Chris Pine as he arrived to sit next to him at the premiere. TMZ spoke with a source who insisted the spitting "absolutely did happen." But Pine's representative later denied the "ridiculous" claim, saying, "Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine." And with that, we can thank the Best Chris for cutting The Spit discourse several months shorter than The Slap.
