Reasons for ICE agents to wear masks | June 5 editorial cartoons

Thursday's political cartoons include a presidential get-out-of-jail-free card, masked ICE agents, and the Tooth Fairy's message for Senator Joni Ernst

This political cartoon is drawn to resemble a card from the Monopoly board game. It’s titled “White House Pardons” and shows the Monopoly man flying out of a cage. Next to the man is written “Get out of jail, free*” The note below the asterisk reads, “* or a million dollar ‘donation’ — or just say you like me!” The final text reads, “This card may be kept until needed.”
