Scotland Yard is said to be investigating claims that a Conservative MP abused and murdered a 12-year-old boy during an orgy in the 1980s.

He says he was regularly physically and sexually abused by "senior military and political" figures at "parties" held at hotels and apartments in London, including Dolphin Square, an apartment complex in Pimlico, near Parliament.
Nick has told police that he saw one 12-year-old boy strangled to death by a Tory MP and another ten-year-old boy deliberately run down and killed by a car driven by one of his abusers in broad daylight on a London street.
A third boy was murdered during an orgy at which another Tory MP was present, he said.
Nick told the Sunday People that he was driven with the strangling victim in a chauffeur-driven car to a location in central London.
"We looked at each other and saw the fear in each other's eyes. We said nothing," he said. "I knew we were being taken somewhere to be sexually abused by powerful men. But I had no idea of the true horror of what was about to happen."
Nick said he witnessed the other boy being strangled and is still not sure why he survived.
The People says a second witness has already corroborated some of the information related to the case.
Officers investigating allegations of historic child abuse confirmed on Friday that they were looking at new claims about "possible homicide". The Metropolitan Police said it was not yet appropriate to issue an appeal or reveal more information as the inquiry is still in its early stages.
