1. Tom Cruise loses his cool over COVID-19 violations on the MI7 set

Celebrities usually make it into The Daily Gossip for doing or saying or singing something out-of-touch and ignorant about the pandemic. Tom Cruise, on the other hand, has made it for being extremely, uh, passionate about COVID-19 protocols. The actor tore into workers on the set of Mission: Impossible 7 after noticing social distancing and mask violations. "We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf--ers," Cruise ranted, "if I see you do it again, you're f--ing gone." Cruise stressed that apologies could be saved for "the people who are losing their f--ing homes because our industry is shut down." Cruise has notably taken personal responsibility in making sure Mission: Impossible 7 is made safely, having even rented two cruise ships to keep the cast and crew quarantined in Norway this summer.

2. Oliver Stone got the Russian vaccine for some reason: 'I don't know if it'll work'

Oscar-winning American director Oliver Stone has been vaccinated — in Russia. "I got a vaccine a few days ago. I don't know if it'll work, but I heard good things about the Russian vaccine," Stone told Russia's Channel One state broadcaster, adding: "I'm hopeful. It's a very good vaccine, I don't understand why it's being ignored in the West." Russia's distribution of its Sputnik V vaccine began last week, although their version is not recommended for people over the age of 60 due to potentially harmful side effects. Stone, who is in Russia to shoot a climate change documentary, is 74. Meanwhile, Pfizer's version of the COVID-19 vaccine began its rollout in the U.S., with plans to vaccinate most people by the summer.

3. The 'Dreams' TikTok guy has COVID-19

The man single-handedly responsible for a whole generation of teenagers learning about Fleetwood Mac has COVID-19. A representative for Nathan Apodaca, a.k.a. TikTok star DoggFace, confirmed that even drinking copious amounts of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice didn't keep the disease at bay. "He is at home resting and getting better," his rep told the Los Angeles Times. Apodaca posted a TikTok on Tuesday afternoon of himself dancing to "Dazed" by Matt Ox, with the caption "the show must go on." Though Apodaca lives in Idaho, he has traveled to Las Vegas and Los Angeles since going viral for the video of him riding a skateboard to work while listening to Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams."

4. Gordon Ramsay's kids only talk to him because he's friends with Gigi Hadid

Gordon Ramsay's kids don't care that he's a famous chef, or that they have unrivaled access to his cooking (daughter Matilda prefers her mom's food). They care that he knows Gigi Hadid. "My daughters, they love me. It's not because I'm a f---- good chef. They love me because I talk to Gigi Hadid," Ramsay told People. "That's the only reason why they want to talk to me." Hadid and Ramsay met on Masterchef Celebrity Showdown in 2016, and the model regularly sends her cooking masterpieces to the chef on Instagram. Ramsay is known for his over-the-top critiquing of other chefs, so it might not be so bad that he gets a dose of humility from his kids at home.

5. Kylie Jenner tops Forbes' highest paid celebrity list, brother-in-law Kanye West comes in second

Kylie Jenner is No. 1 on Forbes' list of highest-paid celebrities for 2020, having raked in $590 million. At just 23, Kylie is both the youngest and the only female among the top 10 earners. Brother-in-law Kanye West was the second-highest earner with $170 million — a staggering $420 million less than Jenner. Forbes reports most of Jenner's income came from selling a 51 percent stake in Kylie Cosmetics, while West's partnership with Adidas brought him to the top. Overall, the world's highest-paid celebs earned a combined $6.1 billion — $200 million less than that of 2019, marking the first drop since 2016. In this tumultuous year, celebrities are clearly hurting too.
