‘Operation Neymar’: PSG reject opening offer from Barcelona
Real Madrid and Juventus also keen on the Brazilian forward

The Daily Mirror reports that Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Barcelona’s opening offer in their bid to re-sign Neymar.
French champions PSG are ready to listen to what the Spanish giants have to say but with negotiations underway there is much to be resolved.
Spanish newspaper Marca says that PSG have agreed to Barca’s suggestion that they take Neymar on an initial loan move with an obligation to buy him permanently at the end of the season.

However, what has still to be decided is “the size of the fee due when the move becomes permanent”.
Reports in the French press claim that Barcelona have offered £136m for the Brazilian but PSG are holding out for £230m.
This summer Barcelona have splashed the cash on Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong and Marca says it seems unlikely the Catalans would be able to have a balance between incomings and sales.

Barcelona are not the only European giant eyeing a move for Neymar. Barca’s Spanish rivals Real Madrid and Italian champions Juventus are also interested in the 27-year-old.
Juventus could use Paulo Dybala as a bargaining chip in negotiations with PSG while Real are awaiting Barcelona’s next move.
With 13 days until the close of the La Liga transfer window Marca reports that Real are in “constant contact” with PSG.
Marca writer Carlos Carpio says: “As it stands, PSG are in talks with Barcelona over this loan option, while [Real president] Florentino Perez is calmly weighing up the pros and cons of signing Neymar.
“It seems like, for the first time in this saga, that Florentino and Real Madrid will have the final say in Operation Neymar.”
