Mercedes-Maybach has revealed a drop-top version of its all-electric Vision 6 concept at the Pebble Beach luxury car show in California.
It's called the Vision 6 Cabriolet and it's powered entirely by electric motors, which are attached to a battery pack that sits under the floor of the 20-ft convertible. This helps the concept produce a supercar-rivalling 740bhp and means it can go up to 200 miles on a single charge.
Aside from its futuristic powertrain, Evo says the Vision 6 Cabriolet is packed with design details for onlookers to pore over. These include a "rose gold fabric roof" and a "quartet of 24-inch multi-spoke wheels."

The convertible's "vast arcing bonnet stretches out from the raked windscreen and converges on a nose dominated by a huge Mercedes-Maybach grille", the magazine says, while the "fluid beltline flows backwards towards a reclining rear end."
Despite its long proportions, AutoExpress says the car is only designed to seat two. But those who do ride in the Vision 6 Cabriolet are treated to a "crystal white nappa leather" interior and "an open-pore wood floor with aluminium inlays" that give the cabin a nautical feel.
The dashboard is "minimalist" and only comes with a trio of air vents and a handful of dials, the magazine says. This is because the concept's features can be controlled by a "Concierge voice control system that understands more natural speech."
After issuing the car a voice command for a specific function, the magazine says the feature is then shown on two head-up displays on the windscreen. Fibre optic cables also feature in the cabin and reflect the energy flow of the concept's electric powertrain.
Much like the Vision 6 Coupe before it, Bloomberg says Mercedes-Maybach fans won't be able to buy the Cabriolet version. Instead, the concept is a "one-of-one example of Mercedes' vision for the cars it'll make in 2035 and beyond."
