Stray dog scales Himalayas with mountaineers

A Nepalese stray dog has scaled a 23,000-foot Himalayan peak after making friends with an expedition team. The heroic dog befriended the leader of the team of mountaineers and spent three weeks scaling the mountain with them. “I have no clue if she'd been up there before, but she seemed very confident in what she was doing,” said one of the team.
Couple hit jackpot with lost sultan’s treasures
A British couple are set to be overnight millionaires after discovering that relics found wrapped in newspaper in their attic are lost Indian sultan’s treasures. The items include a gun, four swords, a shield, and a betel nut box. An auctioneer said: “The owners are an ordinary family who live in a Victorian semi-detached house. You could describe this find as like a lottery win for them.”

Does ancient patent settle toilet roll debate?
The fierce debate over how to hang a toilet roll may finally have been settled with the discovery of a 128 year-old patent. Some people have the toilet paper hanging over the roll, but some have it under. Feelings can run high. The patent, from 15 September 1891, includes an illustration showing the paper being left up and over the roll, rather than hanging under.
