The co-pilot of Flight MH370 made a last-ditch distress call, according to a new theory on the missing jet. Malaysian police say a telecommunication tower detected a mobile number registered to Fariq Abdul Hamid minutes before the plane dropped off the radar. This has boosted speculation that Captain Zaharie Shah forcefully took control of the aircraft before plunging it into the sea.
Arrest after man ‘shoves steak down his pants ’
A man in Florida was arrested after being accused of trying to steal two packs of steaks from a store in St. Augustine by hiding the meat in his pants. Michael Owens, 61, was caught on CCTV footage allegedly putting two packs of rib-eye steaks — worth $56.36 — down his pants. Although the steaks were recovered, they weren't put back on the shelves.

A woman successfully used a 34-year-old free pass to get into Disneyland. When Tamia Richardson showed the ticket she had won 34 years ago as part of Disneyland’s 30th anniversary, she was delighted to find it was accepted, despite it being older than most of the theme park’s visitors.
