Man says his dog ordered access to porn channel

A man has refused to pay the bill for a porn channel on his television, claiming his dog sat on the remote control. Thomas Barnes says the saucy transaction only occured because his bichon frise dog, Marino, jumped up onto the bed and landed on the remote control. Barnes said that by expecting him to pay for the channel, his provider was “stealing” the $70 charge.

London hotel charge £500 for pot of tea

A hotel in London is charging £500 for a pot of tea. Golden Tips tea is available at five-star luxury hotel The Rubens at The Palace. The tea is infused with mineral water to conjure what the posh venue says is “an extraordinary liquor and a smooth, light and mellow texture, with hints of fruity notes”. If you fancy splashing a bit more cash you can add food and enjoy afternoon tea for an extra £45.

War veteran, 96, breaks his diving record

A 96-year-old world war two veteran has broken his own record as the world's oldest active scuba diver for the third year running. Ray Woolley plunged to the depths of the equivalent of a 15-storey building off Cyprus. Woolley, who was celebrating his 96th birthday, plunged to a depth of 42.4 meters for 48 minutes, besting his previous record of 40.6 meters for 44 minutes.
