A man has eaten a McDonald's meal more than a year after he had buried it a friend's garden. Matt Nadin, who ate the meal 14 months after the purchase, said: “The burger actually wasn't too bad. It was soggy underneath and the lettuce tasted gone off but the meat was just hard. The milkshake had gone kind of fizzy and tasted weirdly like a fruit smoothie.”

Why taking your phone to the loo is a bad idea

Half of British adults take their mobile phone with them into the toilet, according to a new study. People in Leeds, London, Belfast and Birmingham were likeliest to take their phones with them to the toilet. But doing so presents a risk that phone users will migrate harmful germs from their faeces to their mouths. The research also found that that 40% of us have dropped an item down the toilet or the sink - with mobile phones and jewellery the most common items.
