Kentucky governor apologises for accusing Tupac Shakur of benefit fraud

The governor of Kentucky has apologised for accusing a man named Tupac Shakur of benefit fraud. Andy Beshear, who had publicly accused the man of making a false claim under the deceased rapper’s name, then discovered it was the man’s real name. “I talked to him on the phone today. I apologised. I told him how it happened, but I owned it,” said Beshear.
