Necklace will get the personal touch
A Tumblr user sent one of her toes to another user to be made into a pendant. According to the recipient, the amputated digit will be placed in a "new pretty jar" after she replaces the preserving fluid and made into something to wear. A spokesperson for Tumblr said: "We're happy to see how these two have connected over their shared passion."

Hunter S Thompson's cannabis to be cloned
Hunter S Thompson's widow has revealed plans to clone, grow and sell cannabis based on the writer's "personal stash". Anita Thompson revealed the plans in a Facebook post, saying the money raised would be put towards building a museum dedicated to her late husband, who committed suicide in 2005.
Australia's 'bumprint bandit' arrested
Police in Wodonga, Australia, say they have arrested the so-called "bumprint bandit" wanted over a break-in at a local community centre. A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on Tuesday. Police did not reveal whether it was fingerprints or the "bumprint" on the centre's glass doors that led to the arrest.
