Japanese farmers are resorting to using robotic wolves to protect crops from wild boars. The “Super Monster Wolf” can cover about a kilometre of ground, and uses motion detectors to spot wild pests before emitting a loud, “primal howl” to scare them away.

Day care owner drugs children and goes to gym

An Oregan day care has been sentenced to 21 years in prison after being found guilty of drugging children she was supposed to be watching, and leaving to go to the gym and a tanning salon. January Neatherlin reportedly told parents not to pick up or drop off their children between 11am and 2pm, because it was “nap time”.

Woman finds ‘bloody tooth’ while eating cashews

An Ohio woman claims she found a “human tooth with dried blood on it” while enjoying a snack of cashews. Local media reports that Nickolette Botsford “felt something hard” while eating the nuts, and that she vomited when she realised what it was. She is now undergoing testing for communicable diseases.
