Highly toxic spider venom may hold the cure for skin cancer, researchers say

Venom from one of the world’s deadliest spiders may contain a peptide that holds the cure for melanoma, and cancerous facial tumours that are close to destroying the Tasmanian Devil populations in Australia. The research follows on from an earlier study that found a similar compound in a highly toxic Brazilian spider.
