Alderweireld on Arsenal radar
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is on the hunt for a new central defender this summer and could raid north London rivals Tottenham for Toby Alderweireld. Also on the Gunners defensive shortlist are Leicester City’s Harry Maguire, Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma and Getafe’s Djene Dakonam. (The Sun)
Ozil on his way out?
If Arsenal are to make a move for Alderweireld or any other top defender it will not come cheap. The Gunners will have to sell players and this could mean the end of their Emirates careers for Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkodran Mustafi. (The Guardian)
Chilwell not a City target
Leicester City and England star Ben Chilwell has been linked with Manchester City but it’s claimed that the Premier League champions are not in the market for a left-back. (Manchester Evening News)
De Ligt wants Barca move
Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt wants to join his team-mate Frenkie de Jong next season at Barcelona but according to reports his agent Mino Raiola would prefer the 19-year-old to sign for Manchester United, Juventus or Bayern Munich. (BBC Sport/Mundo Deportivo)

Battle for Sessegnon

Pogba pay cut to join Real
The “Paul Pogba to Real Madrid” saga continues and the latest twist in the tale is that the Manchester United midfielder would need to take a pay cut to join the Spaniards. (ESPN)
Wages will also Mata for Barca move
Another Manchester United star who may need to take a pay cut to secure a dream move is midfielder Juan Mata. The Spaniard, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is wanted by Barcelona but the La Liga side would offer him less than the £170,000 a week he currently earns at Old Trafford. (The Sun)
Saints eye Adams
Southampton plan to bolster their attack by making a £15m move for Birmingham City forward Che Adams. Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is also keen on signing a centre-half this summer. (Daily Mail)
