Mohamed Salah: Liverpool to Real Madrid
If Gareth Bale does leave Real Madrid the Spanish side will line up Liverpool star Mohamed Salah as his replacement. The Egyptian has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season and it will cost more than £142m to lure him away from Anfield. (talkSPORT via El Confidencial)
Robert Lewandowski: Bayern Munich to Manchester United
Robert Lewandowski has been linked with a summer move to Real Madrid or Chelsea, but it’s claimed that Manchester United have moved into pole position to sign the Bayern Munich striker. David de Gea: Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain
French giants PSG are “weighing up a big-money move” for Manchester United and Spain goalkeeper David de Gea. The United stopper, who has been a long-term target for Real Madrid, is on a PSG shortlist that also includes Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma. (ESPN via Telefoot)
N’Golo Kante: Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain
Despite reports last week saying Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has “little interest” in a move back to France, he remains PSG’s top transfer target this summer. PSG have drawn up a shortlist of midfielders to replace veteran Thiago Motta and French international Kante is the leading candidate. (The Sun via Le 10 Sport)
Emre Can: Liverpool to Juventus
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is out of contract at the end of the season and it’s expected no decision on his future will made any time soon. Italian giants Juventus want to sign the German but expect “many clubs” to be interested. Juve CEO Beppe Marotta said: “We are not going to have a final reply anytime soon. He is a top player and many clubs want to sign him. He is available as a free agent. We’ve already made our move but his reply is not going to arrive anytime soon.” (Liverpool Echo)
Alex Sandro: Juventus to Manchester United
United will offer Matteo Darmian plus cash for Juventus’s Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro. Juventus have been linked with a move for Italy international Darmian and United will use him as a “makeweight” to sign £70m-rated Sandro. (Daily Mirror)
Jack Butland: Stoke City to Liverpool
Stoke City and England goalkeeper Jack Butland is a £40m target for Liverpool and the 24-year-old is “keen” on a move to Anfield. Butland has also been linked with Arsenal but he would prefer to link up with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. (The Sun)
Premier League news and talking points
Kane to have scan on injured ankle
Tottenham’s Harry Kane will have a scan today after injuring his ankle in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth yesterday. We are concerned but need to wait.” (BBC)
Pep wants to build a dynasty at City
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is expected to sign a new deal with contract extension talks “progressing well”. Guardiola wants to be a manager for the “next 10 years” and hopes to build an “Etihad dynasty”.
