Premier League transfer news and rumours
Martial’s United future unclear
Anthony Martial’s future at Manchester United is up in the air with a number of media outlets reporting on the French forward’s Old Trafford situation.
Martial, who signed for United from Monaco in 2015, has again been linked with Italian giants Juventus. It’s not just Juve who are interested though, says The Daily Telegraph. Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham are also linked with a summer move for the 22-year-old.

The Independent says that Martial’s first choice is to stay at United, but boss Jose Mourinho may see him as “surplus to requirements”. The Daily Mail reports that Martial “wants assurances” from Mourinho over his role at United.
Alvaro Morata: Chelsea to Juventus
Another striker linked with Juventus is Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard played on loan at Juventus from 2014 to 2016 and the Serie A club are lining up a move to bring him back to Italy permanently. (The Sun)
Pogba also ‘offered to Real’
Before last weekend’s Manchester derby, City boss Pep Guardiola revealed that he had been offered United midfield star Paul Pogba in January by agent Mino Raiola. Now, according to reports, Raiola also offered the French star to Real Madrid - but the Champions League holders “declined the opportunity” to sign the 25-year-old. (The Sun)
Richarlison: Watford to Manchester United/Chelsea/Everton
Premier League trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton are “keeping tabs” on Watford forward Richarlison. It’s believed the Hornets could sell the Brazilian if they were offered “around £40m”. (Sky Sports)
Shinji Kagawa: Borussia Dortmund to Everton/West Ham
He may have been a “flop” at Manchester United, but according to reports in Germany Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa could make a “spectacular return” to the Premier League this summer. Everton and West Ham are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old Japan playmaker. (The Sun)
Ryan Bertrand: Southampton to Manchester United
Manchester United are leading the chase to sign Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand. The England left-back is valued at £25m and United could face competition from Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton for the 28-year-old’s signature. (The Sun)
Premier League news and talking points
Aubameyang: play me with Lacazette
Arsenal’s record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to play up front alongside Alexandre Lacazette. Aubameyang said: “I hope we will have the opportunity to play together - it’s something I said when I first arrived that I hoped to play with him. We have different styles, but I think they’re styles that complement each other - he’s a very good player.” (Sky Sports)
Dzeko: Chelsea money did not interest me
After helping Roma defeat Barcelona in the Champions League last night, striker Edin Dzeko said he was happy that he turned down a move to Chelsea in January. “Now I can play in the semi-final too,” said Dzeko. “I’m not interested in money. It was not easy, but I stayed here for this kind of game. I’m happy and I think the club are too.” (ESPN via Mediaset)
Mkhitaryan hit by knee injury
After suffering a knee injury in last week’s 4-1 victory against CSKA Moscow, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to be ruled out of the Arsenal’s remaining Premier League games. He could however return if the Gunners reach the Europa League final on 16 May. (Daily Mail)
