Marcus won’t be Rash
If Manchester United want to tie down Marcus Rashford to the club they may have to step up their game, reports The Sun.
According to the paper the England striker is “set to delay new contract talks” with the club. Why? Because he’s not happy at having slipped down the United hierarchy and matters won’t be improved next season if Jose Mourinho does what the Sun predicts and reinforces his striking options.

Apparently the United boss will “splash the cash this summer” and that will leave Rashford “with doubts over his future”.
Rashford has two years left on his existing £70,000-a-week deal, with the option of another 12 months should he fancy it, and the Sun says the Old Trafford bigwigs “want to tie the 20-year-old down on fresh terms, to reward him after coming through the United academy”.
But Rashford doesn’t want to spend more time warming the bench, and a source told the paper: “Marcus loves it here but there are concerns with what the boss could do this summer… this is his club, but you never know what is going to happen.”
Rumours have been milling around Old Trafford for a few weeks that Rashford is considering his options, and the weekend gossip said that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all monitoring the situation.

Right said Fred
The Daily Express claims that United are leading the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred with the paper even saying that the Red Devils have “already submitted a bid”.
With Michael Carrick retiring next month and Marouane Fellaini tipped to exit Old Trafford, Mourinho is in need of more midfield options. It’s been rumoured that the Brazilian is wanted by Manchester City but the Express alleges that the new Premier League champions “are understood to have offered less than United”.
Shakhtar Donetsk have slapped a £50m price tag on Fred and that’s a sum that United are set to pay in order to regain their status as the top team in Manchester.
